DANI HÉBERT
Dani Hébert is an international yoga teacher, entrepreneur, and community builder with 25 years of dedicated personal practice and 15 years of teaching rooted in the Krishnamacharya lineage. Her work explores the epistemology and cosmology of yoga—how this ancient tradition understands knowledge, consciousness, the body, and the possibility of human transformation—while bringing these teachings into conversation with modern awareness and contemporary understanding.
Dani is the co-owner of One Yoga Vancouver, a beloved community studio built around classical yoga, connection, and accessible practice. She is also the founder of the Yoga Initiative, a grassroots organization with 70+ volunteers that has brought thousands of hours of accessible yoga and wellness programming to people and communities who often lack access.
At the heart of Dani’s teaching is a breath-centred approach. Breath is the foundation of life and, therefore, the foundation of yoga. Her classes and workshops weave lineage-based teachings with personal experience gained through years of practice and teaching thousands of students around the world. Rather than treating yoga as a collection of techniques, Dani is interested in how the practices can become a lived inquiry—one that develops awareness, steadiness, clarity, and a deeper understanding of ourselves.
Dani has partnered with organizations and global brands including Fjällräven, Fairmont Hotels, and Wanderlust Festival, bringing yoga to diverse audiences across North America and internationally. She is deeply inspired by global communities, cross-cultural exchange, and the lifelong pursuit of knowledge, continually learning from teachers, traditions, students, and her own practice.
Dani is also the founder of AURA Summit, launching in Vancouver and Toronto in 2027—a new gathering at the intersection of feminism, human potential, wellness, culture, business, and ideas. AURA brings together some of the brightest minds in the feminist conversation around a shared belief: we uplift humanity by uplifting women.
For Dani, yoga is not simply a physical practice. It is a living tradition and a lifelong inquiry into what it means to be human—how we know what we know, how we relate to ourselves and one another, and how we might live with greater awareness, agency, curiosity, and intention.
