Join Reconciliation Practitioner and Yin Yoga Teacher, Chasity Davis for an insightful 2.5 hour workshop that will include a 90-minute yin asana practice that will create space for deep inner exploration and listening to the wisdom of your body in the context of reconciliation. Chasity will also share information about truth and reconciliation.
Chasity has been a part of the Reconciliation Movement prior to there being a well-known movement. She lives, breathes, and teaches reconciliation to a number of different sectors in Canada and the world. She incorporates her yin practice, yogi studies, and Indigenous teachings to create a unique offering for all who wish to be a part of the Reconciliation Movement in their own lives, families, communities, country, and globe.

(YIN)trospection >>> an Intro to yin yoga + a two hour long practice. There will be a focus on the physical benefits, as well as space to invite introspection + nourishment to the body and mind. Conversation, questions, and journaling will be encouraged at the end of practice.

The psoas is where we store tension from the sympathetic nervous system’s fight or flight response. This is why it is often tight and can cause back and hip pain. Because it is connected to the fight or flight response, it is also often the storage place in the body for old fear, anxiety and doubt.
We will cover mindfulness, calm abiding, gratitude, mantra, + guided meditation and learn how to integrate them into your life in a meaningful + practical way that will bring more clarity, peace and groundedness to your experience.
